New York Giants player Adrian Awasom was busted for a DUI a scant two days before the Giants’ big Super Bowl game against the Patriots. Perhaps he let himself get a little too celebratory about his team hitting the big game? Not a smart move. The Giants promptly set him packing.

Lucky for Awasom, he was already on the injured reserve list and hadn’t been slated to play on the big day. However, his little indiscretion did no good for the team’s image.But dumping that bad luck rabbit’s foot, they did manage to go on to win the Super Bowl that year.

I’ve gotta say – drinking and driving won’t make you look Awasom; in the end you’ll just look like a Giant jerk.
