And that’s saying something coming from a sport that has more wrecks than a full NASCAR field. But when you chase a man down on the ice and proceed to pummel him so hard that it’s a wonder they didn’t need a squeegee to scrape him off the ice, you’ve gone too far. The man in question, Steve Moore, laid on the ice for a few minutes after his savage beating(and a dog pile-can’t forget to mention that) and was soon removed via a stretcher. Injuries received: three fractured vertebrae in his neck, a grade three concussion, vertebral ligament damage, stretching of the brachial plexus nerves, and numerous lacerations to his face.
